This is a list of questions to help you to work the 12 Step program for recovery from addictive behaviour. This article contains a list of questions that you may find useful for with Step 10. You are invited to use it only if it works well for you. Remember to be gentle with yourself, always get outside help if you need it and make time for nurturing activities.

Step 10 – I continue to take personal inventory and when I am wrong I promptly admit it

  • What is your plan to allow time for reflection each day?
  • What new behaviours would you like to try to make your program more effective? How would you go about implementing these?
  • What kind of behaviours and attitudes do you need to be most vigilant against to keep from your addictive behaviours?
  • What are your triggers for addictive behaviour? How can you guard against them or prepare for them?
  • What are some amends or remedies that you should make when you find out that you are wrong?
